Overcoming Disappointment

It’s not easy to overcome disappointment and hurt, but I’ve found a couple ways to manage the pain: 

1. Scream. Vent. Cry. Sulk. Get drunk.
2. Stop screaming, venting, crying, sulking. Get sober.
3. Accept.
4. Forgive
5. Move on
6. Work, smile, laugh, play...
7. And before you know it, you’ve forgotten the disappointment, and the reason it came across your path...
                           Then go shopping...

The Doctor's Secret Bride - May 28, 2012

Received the manuscript back from my editor last night, so I will be spending today and tomorrow fixing typos.  Minor stuff, thank goodness.  Here is a quote from her: “I really enjoyed this story. I fell in love with Michelle, lusted after Erik, and was completely charmed by Precious. The chemistry between Michelle and Erik is almost palpable, and the story is structured very nicely. All the plot threads were wrapped up beautifully at the end, and I felt completely satisfied.”

Mark of a Good Man

I finally released my third short story, Mark of a Good Man on Amazon Kindle.  This story took a little more time for me to write since it is longer than the two previous stories.  It fell short of 20,000 words, and can be viewed as a novella.  Now it's time for me to concentrate on dusting off  "The Doctor's Secret Bride", the first in my Billionaires' Brides Series.  TDSB will be released in May 2012.
